Abstract

The ultimate goal of this research  is efficient use of water and increasing the productivity in urban green space. It means so much to the development of green space in the city of Mashhad. Currently in a period of crisis, such as drought and ongoing water shortage problem faced be provided. Therefore, in order to investigate the effect of different irrigation methods include Jar irrigation, surface irrigation and subsurface drip irrigation on green hedge dominant species in Mashhad, The experiment was conducted in Mashhad Park-e-Mellat  during the 1390-1389 season on four hedge Tereven, Pirokanta, zereshk and rose. Plant species a month after planting the plant species in their natural environments were generally sprinkling the stage to perform effectively. This experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with two factors and three levels of jar irrigation (R1), drip irrigation (R2) and the surface irrigation (R3) and four treatments Tereven (P1), zereshk (P2), Pirokanta (P3) and Rose (P4) in three replicates. Evaluation results of simple analysis and comparison of means were done by Duncan test. To evaluate the performance of plants under different irrigation conditions, samples were taken from the plant growth parameters such as the number of leaves and  plants Appearance and at the end of the season Sampling was done such as, leaf area index (LAI), fresh and dry weight of stem and leaf. The results showed that plant growth medium for plants Tereven, zereshk, Pirokanta and Rose; jar irrigation method has better results. Low water levels during the measurement period was equal to 3.46 cubic meters for jar irrigation and then trickle irrigation system and surface, respectively, 4.06 and 4.57 cubic meters respectively. The ANOVA results showed that the maximum plant height for Tereven, zereshk, Pirokanta and Rose are related to treatment R1P1, R1P2, R1P3, R1P4, Which reflects the positive effect of jar irrigation method (R1) on the growth of different species.
